Description

ERA-Net Smart Grids serves the coordination and cooperation between research and development programs in Europe in order to better match national programs. The aim of the workshop, which was designed and conducted by B.A.U.M., was to develop contributions for the ERA-Net Plus Smart Grids activities.
In order to characterize the main topics and positions for the workshop, B.A.U.M. prepared a preliminary evaluation of nationally active Smart Grid platforms in Europe. The focus of the two-day event with 80 representatives from 12 EU countries was to bring together positions, national strategies, funding policies and technology know-how from the relevant companies in the respective countries for the sustainable development of the European energy supply systems.
