DECIDE - Developing Energy Communities through Informative and Collective Actions
DECIDE seeks to actively encourage the participation in Energy Communities
Through their collective action, energy communities are transforming the European energy system. DECIDE aims to be a gamechanger supporting consumers and prosumers to accelerate their impact in the energy market. B.A.U.M. coordinates the pilot projects, accompanies their further development, stakeholder involvement and knowledge transfer.
Description
The Horizon 2020 project DECIDE aims to gain a better understanding of how energy communities and energy efficiency services are established and managed. It intends to identify which kind of communications and interactions work best to encourage participation in energy communities for specific types of individuals and groups. DECIDE will actively transfer the expertise for an increased uptake of the different energy services, measures and products that can be applied within or outside of an energy community. In nine European pilots DECIDE is engaging over 628.000 end-consumers to save 11 ktons of CO2 annually.
