Our colleague and head of the Climate Management product group Anja Aschenbrenner was involved in the development of the new “Land Sector and Removals Guidance” of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol), which has now been published.
For the first time, the guidance provides a globally recognized framework for the uniform recording and reporting of emissions and carbon footprints from land use. It thus closes a key gap in corporate climate accounting and creates a reliable basis for credible and comparable net zero strategies.
Our involvement in this renowned standard underlines how closely B.A.U.M. Consult is involved in current developments in international climate reporting. We bring this expertise directly to bear in advising our clients – from greenhouse gas balances to holistic climate strategies for companies and institutions.
